Jat Senior Secondary School - History itself became an eyewitness to the greatest event on the “ Vaisakhi” 13th April, 1943 When Kaide-e-Aazam Deenbandhu Sir Chhotu Ram proudly laid down the foundation stone of Jat Sr. Sec. School Jind ; truly a “ Shining Star “ in the domain of modern education which certainly caters to the needs of the poor, the needy but committed to achieving the sublime heights of success and glory, since then , it has not looked behind and went on progressing by leaps and bounds. Establishing unprecedented instances of collaboration of the Principal with his laborious and dedicated staff, this school has produced engineers, doctors, technocrats, scientists, bureaucrats, politicians, social activists and devoted patriots etc.

The School is well – equipped with both types of infrastructure-physical and human; additionally adding the feathers to the cap in the forms of N.C.C., N.S.S. and Scouting. Moreover, Ch. Devi Lal stadium has sent out outstanding athletes and players of both national and international arenas and they have always come out with flying colors. In spite of all the salient features mentioned above, our institute is well – known to happily providing a quota of ten percent to those students who come from BPL families sincerely complying with article 134- A of the RTE Act. “Special Free of Cost Extra Coaching Classes “are taken round the year to benefit those students whom we think academically left behind. Students are motivated to participate in games, co – curricular activities and especially “Yoga Classes “following the dictum: A Sound Mind Dwells Only in a Sound Body. “ To impart free of cost education “to those who score 90% or above marks is a unique recognition of our institute among the schools falling in the radius of the city. And finally, May our institute becomes “The Spearhead “in this pious sphere of inculcating education!
